Teach science classes using the IMYC and Clonlara curricula while fostering the intellectual and social development of students at Hope International Academy.
Role Overview
Teachers at Hope are sought to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of children. This role involves planning, implementing, and assessing lessons, requiring patience and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Design and follow a complete teaching plan.
- Teach science classes using the IMYC curriculum.
- Teach basic high school science courses through the Clonlara curriculum.
- Use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities.
- Organize science materials and resources.
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information.
- Regularly assess student performance and progress to ensure steady growth skills.
- Nurture collaboration and international mindedness.
- Cooperate with administration staff.
- Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
- BA in Education (or other science-related degree).
- Teaching qualifications.
- Proficient in English.
- Specific content knowledge in the field of science.
- Proven working experience as a teacher or teacher assistant.
- BSc degree in education or relevant license/certificate.

- Excellent knowledge of child development and the latest education theories and practices.
