Interdisciplinary Engineer
Develop criteria-based design packages, charrette documents, and technical requirements for facility, camp, and airfield construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop criteria-based design packages, charrette documents, and technical requirements for facility, camp, and airfield construction projects.
- Conduct comprehensive technical and functional design reviews to ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and user requirements.
- Monitor project milestones, track construction status, identify technical issues, and recommend corrective actions to leadership.
- Coordinate and collaborate with host-nation officials (GOJ), USACE, higher headquarters, and tenant commands to align project goals.
- Provide professional engineering and architectural guidance on functional layouts, operational needs, and collateral equipment requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Developing design criteria or project planning documents.
- Conducting technical design reviews for facility or airfield construction projects.
- Coordinating engineering requirements with multi-agency or host-nation stakeholders.
