Manage and supervise various construction works for US military bases in Okinawa Prefecture, handling cost, quality, and safety.

Work Contents

We will mainly entrust you with the construction management of various construction works in the US military base in Okinawa Prefecture. Specifically, you will be in charge of construction management, cost management, quality control, safety and health, and site supervision.

  • Process Control: Process adjustment, creating process chart
  • Cost management: Working budget creation, material pick-up, estimation
  • Health and safety: Management as a person in charge of safety
  • Materials management: Ordering, management, and list creation of materials including materials for overseas products
  • Quality control: On-site personnel, working drawings, approval drawings, materials, subcontractors, production drawing arrangements
  • Any other works designated by the company

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in managing construction sites.
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction field as a project engineer.
  • Experience in overseeing all aspects of large-scale projects as a site manager is a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience in U.S. military construction projects with organizations such as USACE and NAVFAC.
  • Familiarity with the three phases of construction and compliance with EM 385-1-1 safety standards is required.
  • Qualifications in either Mechanical, Architectural, or Electrical work execution.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Electrical Engineering is required, except when there is over 10 years of experience in the construction field (submission of certificates from employees as proof of your experience is required).
  • Valid Driver's License and Valid International Driver's License.

Salary and Compensation

  • Annual Salary: 10,000,000–20,000,000 JPY (pre-tax). Salary is determined by skills and experience.
  • Qualification Allowance: 5,000–50,000 JPY (Depends on the type of license/qualification).
  • TOEIC Bonus: 10,000 yen (for scores over 900; candidates from countries where English is an official language are excluded).
  • Commuting Allowance: Applicable when one-way distance is over 2km (Up to 30,000 JPY per month).
  • Parking: Free parking lot is available.

Working Hours and Schedule

  • Hours: 8:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break).
  • Overtime: There might be some overtime work.
  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and other days as specified by the company (124 non-working days per year).
  • Annual Leave: 10 days of annual leave will be provided when 6 months of service is completed.

Bonuses and Raises

  • Bonus: Twice a year (July and December). Base salary x 2.0 total (Results from previous year is 3.0).
  • Pay Raise: Once a year (Spring).
  • Retirement Bonus: Applicable to join the system when an employee reaches 1 year of service.
