Position Summary
Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Special Security Officer to help optimize operations that span the entire enterprise of an organization. In this role, you could help clients achieve impact and value from their investments in both people and technology.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Manage the development, evaluation, and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system security plans to protect sensitive and highly-classified information and property.
- Develop security briefings and guidance on the issuance, control, education, and requirements for classified materials and systems.
- Manage the development, coordination, and monitoring of security programs, including reviewing and approving documentation, conducting site surveys, and supporting security accreditations.
- Manage activities related to security clearances.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance required.
- 4 years of physical security experience.
- Understanding of national-level agency security processes, procedures, and requirements, including Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) standards, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), communications security practices.
- Experience with Special Access Programs.
- Understanding of clearance processing, physical security, and document control functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Facility Security Officer certification.
- Experience managing Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) operations.
- Experience working with databases, such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Industrial Security System (NISS), and Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
