Construction Surveillance Technician
Monitors construction activities, personnel, and materials to ensure security compliance for DoD and federal secure facility projects.
The Opportunity
As a Construction Surveillance Technician, you understand that secure facility construction requires constant attention to people, materials, work areas, and technical risk. Booz Allen is seeking a CST to support ICD 705 secure construction projects for DoD and federal clients. In this role, you will help protect secure construction activities by monitoring workers, inspecting materials, supporting access control, documenting site activity, and reporting security anomalies that could affect facility accreditation.
You will work directly with the Site Security Manager, government security personnel, construction managers, Cleared American Guards, cleared escorts, general contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. You will observe construction activities, identify potential security concerns, document daily surveillance activities, and help ensure construction is performed in accordance with the approved Construction Security Plan.

Requirements
You Have
- 3+ years of experience in construction surveillance, physical security, industrial security, military security, law enforcement, force protection, construction inspection, facilities security, or secure facility support
- Experience supporting access control, visitor control, escort procedures, entry control operations, or controlled-area procedures
- Ability to monitor construction personnel, materials, deliveries, tools, equipment, and site activities
- Ability to identify suspicious activity, unauthorized access, tampering, procedural deviations, and potential security risks
- Ability to prepare daily logs, inspection reports, incident reports, access records, and observation reports
- Ability to work on-site in an active construction environment and support shift coverage as required
- Ability to communicate clearly with security personnel, construction managers, guards, escorts, and subcontractors
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have
- Experience as a Construction Surveillance Technician, Cleared American Guard, cleared escort, military police officer, security forces member, law enforcement officer, or force protection specialist
- Experience supporting ICD 705, ICS 705, SCIF, SAPF, controlled area, classified facility, or secure room construction
- Experience supporting OCONUS DoD or federal construction projects
- Experience working on U.S. military installations, embassies, consulates, or federal compounds
- Experience inspecting construction materials, deliveries, tools, equipment, and secure storage areas
- Experience supporting fixed facility checklists, construction photo logs, inspection records, deviation reports, and accreditation documentation
- Knowledge of construction trades, including electrical, mechanical, communications, drywall, framing, HVAC, utility installation, low-voltage systems, or perimeter construction
- TS/SCI clearance
- Security+, PSP, CPP, OSHA 10 or 30, First Aid CPR, CST, or CAG Certification
- Completion of CST, CAG, ICD 705, SSM, or secure construction surveillance training

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
Work Model
This position is listed as onsite. Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
